Problem:
Iron fines in the cutting oil at Sheridan Products in Racine, WI, USA prematurely wore out their pumping equipment.
Solution:
An Eriez
Ferrous Liquid Line Trap was installed in the oil line just before the coolant fluid returned to the reservoir for recirculation. The permanent magnetic elements of the trap captured all of the iron fines and required only periodic cleaning.
